I'm here, hoping this will be an easy way to find what I'm looking for on the Internet. I "stumbled upon" this site when checking my site stats, and saw that someone posted one of my webpages here. So I was interested in how this works, and how I could link to sites I like, and would want others to visit.

I gave this a Thumbs Up because I've never known anyone who won a contest like this before. It's cool to see him on the Internet. And I particularly like the finale video because it was filmed at my church, and I enjoyed picking out people in the video that I know. It's sort of being "at home" as I watch this.

This includes the video of the "Ethical Man Goes Vegan" video that I just reviewed. Again, it's from the BBC, and pertains to the UN's concern over world-wide food shortages. They are having an emergency summit right now on the topic. The readers comments are interesting, too, even if I don't agree with all of them.

This is from the BBC, and is a video of "Ethical Man" who is a meat eater, but who decided to see how being a vegan for a month would impact his health and his carbon footprint. It is interesting to watch, and not the kind of thing I would ever expect to see from the media in the USA. I always appreciate whenever anyone, and especially a meat-eater (who doesn't have a "vegan agenda", and who others might be able to relate to more easily, if he's "one of them") can bring up the impact of animal agriculture on Climate Change. That doesn't happen often enough, even among most environmentalists I know in this country.

Marty is a friend of mine. It's so cool that he won, but also, just to get to watch videos of him on the Internet. How many people do I know, that I could say that about?
